Wealth, luck and success are easily associated with its iridescent, sometimes glittering scales and in many color varieties.
A team of scientists has succeeded to digitise KOI carp DNA and breed a first Generation of spectacular gene mutations that live in the metaverse.
Generative breeding
The following KOI generations are created by an algorithm using the unique ID of the NFT as a „seed“ for the creation of the artwork. The two selected „KOI PARENTS“ textures are used for calculation, which are generated automatically for the new KOI generation.
Each generative KOI is unique and linked to the NFT. As a basis for breeding, 36 genera are available in the first generation. For the second generation, a limited number of 3 breeding virtual animals can be generated per genus pairing. Thus, the 2nd generation is limited to 3’888 KOI.

The first generation will be launched exclusively on Foundation from 01 July.
The public minting of Generation 2 is announced for August 01 (WL) and August 08 – on this homepage.
The first generation is limited to two parents from 36 genera – a total of 72 Generation One KOI.
For public minting, 3’888 virtual KOI can be generated per mating and genus. The MINTING price is communicated on this homepage.
The 72 Generation-One virtual parent animals can be traded exclusively on Foundation.
The 3’888 virtual breeding animals from Generation 2 can be traded on OpenSea.
Anyone interested in a virtual KOI G-2 can sign up for the whitelist (limited to 1000).
